Terms of Service

Brokerfolio (the “Service”, “we”, “us”) is a hosted service that lets real estate agents publish a verified public profile — a “scoreboard” — at a personal link. These Terms govern your use of the Service. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them.

1. Your account

You must provide an accurate email address, keep your login credentials secure, and you are responsible for activity under your account.

2. Your content and self-reported information

• You choose what to publish (name, agency, license number, years active, deals closed, total value, listings, narrative, contact links, and more).
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of everything you publish, especially self-reported figures such as deals closed and total value. You represent that this information is true and not misleading.
• Verified badges indicate only that a specific item (such as a license number) has been confirmed. They are not a verification or guarantee of your self-reported figures.
• You must hold any license you display and comply with your local real estate authority and other applicable regulations. You must not publish unlawful, infringing, or misleading content.

3. Subscription, billing, and cancellation

• New subscriptions begin with a 7-day free trial: you are not charged during the trial and may cancel any time within it at no cost. After the trial, the Service is offered on a recurring subscription. Current pricing is shown at checkout (plus any applicable taxes). Pricing may change with prior notice; the rate you subscribe at applies to your subscription while it stays active.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details.
• Your subscription renews automatically each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your page stays live until then.
• If a payment fails, your page may be unpublished until the payment is resolved.
• Refunds: a 30-day money-back guarantee applies to your first payment — see section 4 below.

4. Refunds — the 30-day money-back guarantee

• First-time subscribers may request a full refund of their first payment (monthly or annual) within 30 days of that payment — no reason needed.
• To request one, email hello@brokerfolio.me from your account email. We process refunds within 7 business days to the original payment method; your bank may take a few more days to post it.
• A refund ends the subscription and unpublishes the public page.
• The guarantee covers the first payment of a first-time subscription only — renewal payments and repeat subscriptions are not covered.
• Referral rewards granted because of a payment that is later refunded may be reversed.

5. Client reviews

• Reviews reach a profile only through single-use invite links that the agent sends to their own clients.
• By sending an invite you confirm you have that client's permission to contact them with it.
• Agents can hide a review from their page but can never edit or delete its text or rating.
• We do not edit reviews either. We may remove or redact a review at the reviewer's request, where its content is unlawful, abusive, or unrelated to the agent's services, or where a competent authority requires it.

6. Referral program

Subscribers can earn rewards for referring other agents. The current reward and the rules that govern it are set out in the Referral Program Terms, which form part of these Terms.

7. What “verified” means

• A verification badge appears only after we have confirmed the specific item it refers to — for example, the agent's identity or that the licence number shown belongs to them. A badge never confirms self-reported figures such as deals closed or total value.
• Licence numbers are displayed so clients can check them against the official public register of their local authority. Our own licence checks use open data published by the Dubai Land Department; a badge reflects the register as of our most recent check.
• Brokerfolio is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for RERA, the Dubai Land Department, or any other regulator.
• Agents remain responsible for their own regulatory compliance, including any advertising-permit rules that apply to listings they choose to publish.

8. Acceptable use

You may not abuse, scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt the Service or other users. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including fraudulent or misleading profiles.

9. Availability, disclaimers, and liability

The Service is provided “as is” without uptime guarantees. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and limit our total liability to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
