This policy explains what personal data Brokerfolio (the “Service”) collects, why, who we share it with, and your rights.

1. What we collect

• Account data: your email address and authentication data, managed via Supabase Auth.
• Profile data you choose to publish: name, agency, area, license number, years active, deals closed, total value, specializations, languages, narrative answers, listings, photos, and WhatsApp / social / contact links. This information is public by design once you publish.
• Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number — only a Stripe customer/subscription identifier and status.
• Newsletter and reservation data: if you subscribe to our newsletter or reserve a profile name, we store your email address, the name/link you requested, the page you signed up from, and — as proof of your consent — the exact wording you agreed to plus the timestamps and IP addresses of your signup and confirmation. Every newsletter we send includes an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
• Technical data: standard request logs from our hosting provider, and product analytics that record which pages you visit and which features you use, so we can see where the Service is confusing or broken.
• Advertising measurement: we advertise Brokerfolio on Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok and Google. Their measurement tags run on our site and set cross-site cookies, which tell those platforms that a visit or a started trial came from one of our ads, and let them show our ads to people with similar interests. We use this to measure which ads work — not to build a profile of you ourselves. You can limit it in your browser’s cookie settings and in the ad-preference settings of each platform.
• Profile statistics (for agents): we count visits to your public profile as an anonymous tally — no visitor IP addresses, identities, or browsing profiles are stored with it — and record which sharing features your own account uses (for example creating a review invite), so your dashboard can show how your page is doing. Counts are kept only as long as needed for these statistics.

2. How we use it

To provide the Service (host and display your public profile), process your subscription, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Who processes your data

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (hosts your account and profile data, including uploaded photos).
• Vercel — serves the application and provides page-view analytics.
• Resend — sends our emails (confirmations and the newsletter).
• PostHog — product analytics (hosted in the European Union).
• Meta, TikTok and Google — advertising measurement, as described above.

Your data may be processed by these providers on servers outside the United Arab Emirates.

4. Public information

Content you publish on your profile is accessible to anyone with the link and may be indexed by search engines. Do not publish anything you wish to keep private — for example, use your area or city rather than your home address.

5. Retention and your rights

You can view, edit, or remove your profile data from your dashboard at any time. We keep your data while your account is active; you can request deletion of your account and data by contacting us, though some records may be retained where required by law or for accounting purposes.

6. Security

We use reputable providers (Supabase, Stripe, Vercel) and standard measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure.
